During the past nine years since we have been at Dolbeare Park, we have worked hard on making Dolbeare Park as sustainabile and efficient as possible without affecting quality. For the most part, our customers are unaware of our efforts to remain as cost effective and efficient as possible.

Initially with a huge help from CoaST and continuing as an Ambassador, we have worked hard to achieve a number of awards, namely the GTBS (Green Tourist Business Scheme) and the David Bellamy Award, where we achieved the prestigious Gold Awards in both.

In 2011 and 2013, we were delighted to win the Bronze Award at the Cornwall Tourism Awards for Sustainability.

In 2012 and 2014, we were absolutely delighted to win the Green Tourism Goldstar Award. These awards are such huge achievements for us and also show us that we are being recognised for all the hard work that we undertake to be as sustainable as possible.

There are subtle differences between the GTBS and David Bellamy awards, have a look below to see why we are so proud to achieve both.

Information Centre

We have an extensive information centre with maps, leaflets, guides covering a wide area of both Devon and Cornwall as well as wildlife on our Park. We also have our own guides on `Where to eat', `Where to walk', `Sports and Recreation', `Beaches' and our `Suggestions Leaflet' of things you might miss.
