Is there a shop on site?

We have a small shop selling essentials and some locally produced food, local meat from the butcher and local farm eggs. We sell freshly baked bread in the mornings and takeaway food in the evenings. We also sell sweets, ice creams, wine, beer and cider. We have a few items for caravan and tent repairs. top

What are the hours of the shop?

In the summer and peak periods, the shop will be open from 8.30am until 11am and then 4pm until 7pm every day. top

Where can I find the nearest supermarket?

Waitrose is at the Saltash Roundabout – 3 miles towards Plymouth. Turn left at the Saltash roundabout, turn right at mini roundabout and Waitrose is in front of you.

Lidl at Saltash - 3 miles towards Plymouth. Turn right at the Saltash roundabout, Lidl is a short distance on the left.

Morrisons is at Liskeard – follow A38 towards Liskeard, take first Liskeard sign. At roundabout turn right, cross road bridge and at next roundabout turn right. You can see Morrisons on your left.

Sainsbury’s is across the Tamar Bridge, a few miles up on right hand side. You can’t miss it! top

In the summer when it’s busy, is there always a long wait for the showers?

We have recently refurbished our amenity block with two family rooms and more showers. At busy times of the day there may be a short wait. top

What are the arrival and departure times?

Pitches are available from 12 midday and should be vacated by 11am on day of departure. Arrivals after 8pm are by prior arrangement. top

Where can I take my dog for a walk?

We have a small dog walk on the park. There are loads of country lanes to walk down around here and public footpaths across open fields. Just remember to pick up after your dog. top

Where is the nearest dog walking beach?

The nearest beach is Seaton, just 8 miles away and sandy. There is a café on the beach – open all year. top

Where is the nearest pub?

The Bullers Arms in Landrake is our nearest pub. It’s a mile to the pub so is a 15-20 minute walk. You will need a torch if you walk back in the dark. The pub serves great food and has some evening entertainment. Tuesday to Friday – one paying adult and a child eats free.

You can also walk to the Notterbridge Pub and restaurant. That is probably a two mile walk but you will need to climb a fairly steep hill on the way back. Serves great food and is next to the river. A good place to walk to for lunch. top

Where is the nearest bus stop?

The bus stop is literally at the end of the road, near the junction with the A38. National Express coaches stop there as well. It’s about a mile – so 15-20 minute walk (close to the Bullers Inn pub). top

Can I get a taxi into Plymouth?

Absolutely, you can find taxi company details in the Information Centre. top

What is there to do for children on the park?

We have an adventure play area for children. We also have a giant Connect 4 and a Giant Chess set. In the summer and peak periods, we have archery evenings (with a BBQ). We have a paddock where children can play football and in the summer, we will be having organised games such as rounders, softball and cricket. top

"Lovely site with very spacious pitches. Excellent information room and free use of fridge/freezer, showers and hairdryer."
Chris Micah, Powys

"Had a lovely few days on this quiet, spotlessly clean and friendly camp-site. The facilties were great for the children who made friends and played football, on the adventure playground and even a spot of giant chess."
