Chris and Ian became the new owners of Dolbeare Park on 28 February 2007 after a four year search for that perfect park!
Dolbeare Park is situated in the countryside of South East Cornwall but just a short drive from the beach, the moors and the city of Plymouth - and only just one mile from the A38 - one of the main roads into Cornwall. The results of our improvements have already resulted in a Visit Britain 5* Award and a coveted Green Tourist Business Scheme 'Gold' Award for our environmental and conservation activities. We have received some fantastic reviews from our guests providing further endorsements of our improvements. Our Information Centre contains a huge amount of local information, walks, bus timetables, bird spotting, Nature and Wildlife Quiz, places to explore in and around the surrounding area and also what and how we recycle. Our shop sells fresh bread and croissants, tomatoes from our own greenhouse, wine, beer and local meat from our local butcher for the evening barbeque. If you are looking for a well run site, warm and friendly staff that are pleased to see you and help you, then Dolbeare Park is the place you need to head for, we look forward to meeting you. |
"Lovely site with very spacious pitches. Excellent information room and free use of fridge/freezer, showers and hairdryer."
Chris Micah, Powys
"Had a lovely few days on this quiet, spotlessly clean and friendly camp-site. The facilties were great for the children who made friends and played football, on the adventure playground and even a spot of giant chess."
Umerah family, Stafford
