Over the years, we have been honoured to receive a number of awards that we are really proud of - everyone at Dolbeare Park has worked hard to achieve these awards and we all work just as hard to retain and enhance them. We all have a commitment to the park, the landscape and the environment - to look after it as best we can to ensure it`s longevity.

A fantastic achievement and a very huge thank you to all our staff who have helped us to achieve these awards over the years.

We are now into our 11th year being at Dolbeare Park and have taken the park from a poor low end four star park when we initially bought the park in 2007 to a good five star park, AA five pennant park, Green Tourism Gold, David Bellamy Gold and Loo of the Year, Platinum. We are immensely proud of these achievements.

Our achievements have been incredible and much of this is thanks to our brilliant staff over the years and their resourcefulness and understanding of sustainability and how to improve the environement that we are fortunate to make our home.

In 2016, we decided to enter into the Loo the the Year Award again as we hadn't actually entered this award for a few years and really wanted to make sure that our toilet block is as good as we thought! Well, we were delighted to receive the Platinum Award, so we guess it must be! We certainly try our best and work really hard to keeping it as how we would expect to find it.

2015 was another superb year, the park did incredibly well again, achieving the Visit England 5 star award, AA 5 pennant award, Green Tourism Gold Award and the David Bellamy Gold Award.

2014 was another brilliant year for awards at Dolbeare Park. We achieved Visit England Five Star Award again and AA 5 Pennant.

We were delighted to win the Goldstar Award for the most sustainable holiday park in the UK and Ireland. This is the second time for Dolbeare Park to achieve this award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme. All of the finalists were chosen from over 2,000 green tourism businesses that are assessed for their innovation, cost savings and green ambassadorship during 2013/14.

We also won the Bronze Award at the Cornwall Tourism Awards in October 2014 for being one of the most sustainable businesses in Cornwall.

We were also delighted to win the David Bellamy Gold Award again in 2014.

In December 2013 we were delighted to receive our GTBS Gold Award again.

In June 2011 we received the Goldstar award and the Best Carbon Footprint award recognising Dolbeare Park as one of the greenest businesses in the UK and Ireland! In June 2010 we increased our score with the Green Tourist Business Scheme for sustainable tourism to 90%. At that time only one other five star touring park in the southwest had managed to achive Gold with GTBS.

In February 2010 we were voted 12th place and Regional Winner for Cornwall in Practical Caravan's Top 100 - a big thanks to all our guests for their votes.

In December 2009 we were delighted to receive the five star Loo Of The Year award for the cleanliness and wide range of high quality family and disabled facilities available in our amenity block.

Following our Silver success in the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2009, on 26 October we also achieved the status of Finalist in the South West Tourism Excellence Awards 2009/10. These awards recognise outstanding levels of customer service, plus exemplary facilities, along with a commitment to sustainability, recycling and the environment and being accessible to all.

Awarded SilverOn 15 October, at the Headland Hotel in Newquay we were delighted to be presented with the Silver Award for the Holiday/Caravan/Camping Park of the Year by Kirstie Allsop on behalf of the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2009.

On 9 September we were awarded our second David Bellamy Silver accolade

In July 2009 we were really pleased to be awarded our 4th AA pennant with a quality score of 81%. The inspector's report included the following on our refurbished amenity block:

The new conservatory style dishwashing and laundry room is impressively spacious and a light and airy working environment. The two new family rooms have been so thoughtfully planned and executed at considerable expense and with top quality fittings. The tiling throughout both the ladies and gents toilets, with their warm inviting interiors, non-slip flooring and again quality fittings, are a credit to your taste and design skills. I am going to find it difficult to stop talking about your showers which just bowled me over. Sensor controlled showers I’ve met before but not ones where temperature and flow is controlled by waving your hand in front of a control panel. With heating provided by both radiators and under-floor nothing has been left to chance.

In February 2009 we were awarded Regional Winner of the Practical Caravan Top 100 Parks 2009 and voted at number 8 out of 100 for the whole country - a big thank you to all of our guests who cast these votes.

We're also proud of the conservation work that we are putting into Dolbeare Park. In 2008 we were really pleased to receive the prestigous Green Tourist Business Scheme Gold Award. We are the first caravan park in Cornwall to have reached this achievement and the only caravan park in South West England to have reached both 5 star and Gold. We have also achieved Silver level in the David Bellamy Award scheme.

In July 2008 following the improvements we made we increased our Visit Britain rating to 92% and achieved five stars - another significant first for Dolbeare Park and one that we are really proud of.

In 2007 we reached the Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome criteria - more firsts for Dolbeare Park.

In support of our conservation activities we are members of the Cornwall Association of Sustainable Tourism (CoAST).
